These are unprecedented times and like many other responsible businesses we are taking the necessary steps to ensure the safety of you, your families, our communities and businesses across the province. As trails are closed for Spring thaw presently there are no group rides to cancel, we will be keeping on top of the ever-changing information and will notify of any cancellations of future rides as the time come closer.
In addition, if you plan to ride your ATV on property that is not owned or leased by (if applicable), sign, date and return to DCNR within 15 days of disposition.
This park is always open for recreation unless closed or restricted by posting. During off hours and the off-season the park is typically not staffed, comfort stations are not available and gates may be closed. The off-season poses unique risks inherent when participating in outdoor recreational activities. Please be aware that many State Park areas and trails are not staffed during the off-season, and day-use fees are not collected.
Recreationalists should possess the necessary knowledge, skill, and equipment to ensure their own safety. Users assume all risk while recreating in State Park lands. Visitors staying at a NH State park campground are required to sign and attest that they have quarantined 14 days prior to thier arrival at the campground. Outside of the main camping season, early spring and late fall camping is first come, first serve and weather permitting.

Currently, the safety of our staff and visitors supersedes continuing operations at certain locations. Some State parks have already closed and if the public does not follow social distancing guidelines or vandalizes property more State and County parks and trails may close.
When you visit, you will need to take your garbage and recyclables home with you. We all play a vital role in taking care of our natural resources. If possible, please record the license plate number of the suspect ATV. The hills, valleys and challenging terrain of the trail, were created by the action of glaciers, many thousands of years ago.
This glacial topography is what makes this area ideal for ATV riding. You will be challenged with steep hills and valleys, as the trail winds past small lakes and beaver ponds, as well as, spectacular vistas and abundant wild life. In addition to trail, riders can enjoy approximately 20 miles of routes mostly gravel in the immediate vicinity of the trail.
Be cautious, as you never know what’s around the next corner, or over the next hill, on this two-way trail! Free viewers are required for some of the attached documents.
